Panevino

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Panevino in Finneston this afternoon. The food was superb.

This is familiar but also somewhat unfamiliar ground for me. I lived in this area for over 10 years from the start of the 90s when this part of town was something of a dump. Today it is transformed. Mostly very much for the better as a thriving district akin to Byres Road but...

I do miss the wonderful Indian restaurant, the gargantuan Creme de la Creme which was in an old cinema, now demolished, to make way for the building that now houses Panevino.
