North Fountain

I spent the afternoon today at Waddesdon near this edifice. I was outside as a Volunteer with the Visitor Services at this point where visitors alight on and off the buses which have brought them from the car park. It was a lovely afternoon and everyone was in good spirits apart from one lady. She arrived with her dog and we had to tell her that dogs are not allowed on the grounds. We do have some areas where people can take their pets but, for obvious reasons, it is not good to have dogs about the place.
To be fair, the dog should not even have made it on to the bus and the lady should have been told this back at the car park, so we don't quite know why it happened. In the end she was given a refund of her ticket and I hope she was happy. You can't please all the people all the time!!
It was a fun afternoon and I got to drive the mobility bus up and down the drive a few times.
