Red Arrows and good friends
I had a lovely unplanned day today (always the best).
We had a good breakfast at the hotel then took a ride down to Bakewell to take a walk. I had a bit of a plan to try and catch up with an old mate (Hollow) and his lovely wife and great kids. I have known him for 19 years and don't get to see him as much as I should.
It was funny for the girlfriend. She said meeting the kids was like meeting famous children as she has seen photos of the kids so much she felt she knew them but had never actually met them before. Blip superstars.
It was nice to catch up with them and spend a little time hanging out. They were going to watch the Red Arrows perform over Chatsworth so we had a great walk up Froggatt Edge. There were lots of shots but this was a favourite as I liked the people walking along the edge giving it some scale.
