While this looks like a totally cute tender moment between a boy and a dog, in reality, Euan was bending down to pick up Rona's lead.
That said, I feel that we are in danger of becoming too clean. Clinically this is essential but most of the time we need some exposure to the rest of the world so that we may develop an immunity to all sorts of bugs and things.
Euan came up for a few short hours this morning and we had great fun playing with the toys, walking in the woods, talking to everyone on our old house phone (not plugged in), having lunch and watching TV briefly before going back home to his Mum.
Glad he came this morning because the afternoon has been quite a mixture, weatherwise. Bright sun and a sharp breeze then some nasty showers. That's autumn for you!
