Just for a change...

After two late nights in a row, no-one was very keen to get out of bed this morning, including Loiue, despite the fact that it was a lovely sunny day. So it was after midday before we set out for a walk from the Common. Just for a change, instead of walking round the usual path we climbed up through the trees and on to the moorland. We didn't go very far (Louie can't walk too far these days), but it was good to get a sense of being in the hills. Yet another view of Humbleton Hill to the right of the Blip; the extra is a view over the Millfield Plain towards the coast.

Back home for a short while, then an unscheduled trip over to Belford - A friend had posted on Facebook that she was having difficulty putting up a curtain rail. MrM offered to put up the rail, and I went along for a chat (and to inspect her new decorated dining room!). Belford's not far from the coast, and it would have been a shame not to travel just a few miles further... So, next it was a walk on the beach at Bamburgh in the sunshine.

It was getting quite late when we eventually arrived home again, so we walked down to the pub for a meal, rather than cooking. A nice end to an unusually relaxed Sunday!
