A dessert in the making!

It rained ALL morning ... quite heavily in fact. We Scots are a tough lot so I donned my waterproof shoes and reasonably waterproof jacket and walked down the shops where I bought some milk and a tin of salmon for Wednesday's sandwiches.
My feet then took me to the Insurance Company where I renewed my car insurance ... nothing comes cheap these days!

The rain continued to fall so I decided to cook some rhubarb .... love it!

By the middle of the afternoon the rain had eased so I nipped out with the camera to take a quick photo of the blue Poppy which, as you can see from the extra, had burst into bloom.
