Verdant canopy

Today's driving was fortunately uneventful, and we arrived home to sunshine, around 3pm. Everything was looking very green - although we had arranged to have the grass cut a couple of times while we were away, it was still more than ready for another cut. We knew they'd had a lot of rain in our absence, particularly the first week we were gone, but temperatures were warm, so grass grows really fast! After unloading the car, we went out to get a late lunch, then did a bit of grocery shopping. Then, given the lovely weather, and having been cooped up in the car for a day and a half, we took the bikes on the car to Loveland, and went for a 12-mile ride on the bike trail. It was a very popular place to be - we were lucky to get a parking spot!
