Ladybird, Ladybird, fly away home!

The expected rain didn't arrive thankfully but the day was still very busy.  Being book week at school and today we had a literary quiz in the library at lunchtime.  Was very popular and well run.  Then it was like the day flew by so I raced outside when I got home to take a photo and found this pretty ladybird sitting patiently on a leaf.  

Tomorrow after school we are leaving for a drive to Wellington for our sons capping.  Will have to post photos and comments as and when I can.  We will make it a long weekend and be back home on Sunday sometime.
