Day 136/17. Recycled coffee.

I love the growing trend to use wooden cutlery in coffee shops and cafes. But there are a couple of questions I have.
1. Why is there the near useless wooden stick and not a small wooden teaspoon?
2. I understand that wood biodegrades and plastic does not. Perfect.
3. Where is the energy balance? How do the manufacturing costs of the wooded cutlery compare to the cost of plastic?
But generally a welcome change.
