Cotton reel haystacks

I had to go over to Bristol this morning for a workshop on welfare reform in supported housing. Made me realise how much I don't know -its a bit of a new area I'm having to take on - but some good ideas. it was just around the corner from where Ben lives and hoped to meet for lunch but he had had a bit of a heavy night and ended up at a friends and didn't get back in time. Youth eh? Glad I'm seeing him at the weekend now!

Spotted these on the way back to Banbury and was glad I could stop, They really did look just like cotton reels with the binding round the middle.

Kateann had sent me an article about how to get noticed at work (part of my issues at the moment) and turned out I was really pretty good at what they suggested ! I am increasingly convinced you just need to be the best you you can be and stop caring about how others value that.
