Jetting about

It was a mission to get to the airport in time to check my bags, mainly because I couldn't find my phone and I can no longer survive being away from home without it. Feels more important than my ID.  I was relieved to have time to order a cappuccino.
Quick flight. My hire car was upgraded to an Audi A4 automatic. For someone who only drives a manual, this has been a challenge, and the jerking along as I slam on brakes to change gear (don't say it) has given me away!!
I somehow started at the airport but then stopped to collect someone on the way to the venue and for the life of me couldn't work out how to start again... no key.   So now the greatest luxury of all, on the day CT residents have been restricted to 100l per day cos of the drought, I'm going to have a BATH.
