Meet the Iron Man

After a long journey on Friday we didn't venture far from our humble weekend home.
Not necessary when one of your favourite sculptors has a piece on the beach that you can see from the bedroom window. The is one of the 6 Gormley's that the Landmark Trust installed to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2015. It was only supposed to be there for a year but I'm glad it has lasted a bit longer.
A lovely day for a walk on the beach in the morning and another walk up to the abbey in the afternoon. The rain held off till evening when we cooked dinner for the assembled company.
