Today's blip is a simple good wish to my long-time friend and colleague, Revd Dr Derek Browning, who on Saturday becomes the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.

I look forward to observing the great moment from my seat in the Reserved Gallery.   

His moderatorial year will be a great gift to the Church.
