Young love.

Our young lone female swan on the Leg of Mutton Pond has had a companion for the past few days - I'm so happy - I am just hoping that the male swan from the Heron Pond will not chase this new comer away. He has been "visiting" about three times a week. It's not right as he has a wife and family! Since his offspring have appeared on the scene he has not been down so here's hoping!
The goslings are growing fast, as are the cygnets - you can see an update here.
