down the garden path

I spent all day in the assessment unit in Bantry hospital while they carried out loads of tests.  Apparently this leg problem could be symptomatic of something serious. But it was rotten weather so I didnt mind too much, though it was a lot of waiting around. 
But test results are all normal and there's now a whole range of things I know I don't have!  Phew. 
Got home into a damp evening, but the rain has stopped.
