Timber Ponds

What a good day-a stakeholders day at the Beacon , Greenock for Turning Point Scotland. We heard from service users with Learning Disability and their parents. They conveyed with great clarity and conviction what support from Turning Point means on a daily basis for their loved ones-The opportunity to live independent lives of quality, being treated with dignity and respect.

This is a photo of the Timber Ponds at Port Glasgow where wood for shipbuilding was stored prior to being used in the 18th century. I took the dog for a walk beside the river here before coming home.
