Mersey Crossing - 5

Another update picture from the new Mersey Crossing between Runcorn and Widnes. I found a different viewpoint today so I got a bit closer to the construction. It is coming along well but the real difference is in the approach roads. On the Widnes side, the old road I took to Bold Heath has disappeared and it is a confusing mass of diversions and building work with a new roundabout under construction.

I'm sure it will be great when it is complete but Widnes, which was never the most attractive place in the world, is currently a bigger mess than normal.
