Frost has Bought out the Colours

We have has some heavy showers over night and this morning. A very damp gloomy day in the city indeed.

I didn't have to wait too long at the hospital today, which was great. The specialist has discharged me from his care. He seemed pleased with the eye. I now have to get new glasses. Not looking forward to that as the last ones cost me $1,700. I have to have prisms put into my lens and that is what cost the most. This time I have to get new reading glasses as well.. so will cost more.

With the drops they put into your to eyes to dilate the pupil..today it affected me more than usual. It has taken just about all day before I could see well again. I took this shot early this afternoon and I really couldn't see what it was going to look like. Luckily it turned out OK. Also it has left me with really sore eyes and a bad headache.
