Buds

Damp and humid morning as l walked along Main Street.
Saw these emerging poppies by a garden wall,
Some have already burst open and their scarlet petals were ablaze in the early morning light but it was the hairy buds that caught my attention.
Going to visit my friend now whose husband is back in hospital.
Mr P's brother also in hospital after not feeling too well after recent treatment.
Mr P is plastering a ceiling in the last room we are decorating in this phase, best for me to be out of the way!
