Surprise!

And he did surprise me. This little dog Jakie bounded up out of the salal along the walking path on the Island. His owners were  little farther along. I just had time to catch his expectant "will you play with me" look before they  called him back to them. A cute little guy. Lots of fun. 

Busy day. A tree faller came in the morning and dropped a very large dead standing fir that was too big for P's chain saw. See extra. And then we had a long overdue dinner with blipper NannaK and H. I took an Indian spiced roasted root vegetable stew. Definitely a "do again" - the evening and the food. ;-)
