Late summer sunset

I headed back along the roads I discovered last night to see if there was anything interesting. The sky was clearer with nice clouds and the sun was going down quickly. I noticed a twisted tree and stopped to try to capture it in the sunset.

What a pity the tree was growing in the wrong place!

Loads of potential but nothing I thought was really good. It's weird how that can happen. Yet someone else could come along and spot a classic in a moment.

Settled for nature doing its best of creating beautiful colours and tried to push a bit of interest from the crop stubble.
