Poppy

There's a tough and old Poppy plant in the garden. It's been divided, moved and generally treated like the reliable perennial it is. Today I noticed that the flowers were starting to unfurl and went to get the camera. By the time I returned this had happened - in the space of about five minutes.

A childminding day and a visit to the farm. I took photographs of some of the animals but Cameraman's portrait of Gaucho was unbeatable (not that it's a competition of course). A beautiful afternoon in the garden enjoying the warm sunshine.
