And just like that - it's 35 degrees, feels like August and all of a sudden a pure wool suit doesn't seem like the smartest sartorial move. On a day like this I'd rather be somewhere on a windswept Cornish coastline than baking in DC. But I digress: this is the World War II Memorial (with some tourists on Segways out front), source of much controversy over the location, the design, the content etc. Personally I think it's excellent.
