Waterlily

This beauty is called 'St Louis Gold'.

L and I were back in Edinburgh today .... two reasons ..... L wanted to see the Diaspora embroidery panels done by some school children and I wanted to see if there were any waterlilies in the Botanic Garden Glasshouses. Neither of us was disappointed. The extra shot is one of the quite spectacular flowers in the Tropics House .... couldn't find its name.

We walked, trudged, trailed our pace getting ever slower .... over 20,000 steps and I dozed most of the way home in the train.
