Birds in Black

I am getting the hang of portraits and achieving better focus with the M4/3 camera, but will need much more BIF ('Birds in Flight') practice.
The Blackbird (I call him 'Shiny') was surveying the garden from the Catwalk. The Rook gave me several poses outside Lidl, where I was hoping to get some seabirds flying around. Not this time. I am certainly finding the handheld easier with the smaller camera, and the long lens is not so big, but accurate. Come on big birds and give me a chance by flying less erratically and rather slower, please.
