Be careful what you wish for

All through April I was waiting for rain but now we are half way through May, I wasn't very impressed with a whole day of steady rain today. I took the unusual step of cancelling an organised walk that was planned for today for our walking group. Nobody turned up at the meeting point and I had put a cancellation notice on the website. Hopefully, next Thursday when we have rescheduled it will be fine. This was a brief moment of colour through the lounge window this evening.
