Rainy Day

It is an overcast, drizzly day. Without the blazing sun, the temperature is only 80F (normally it is 20F warmer). I have not been feeling well, but I decided to go to the Desert Botanical Garden anyway. There are not many days like this and even if my joints and nerves protest, I knew it would benefit my brain. And it did. Even the smell was wonderful. I traveled light with only my cell phone to take pictures. The phone did a surprisingly good job with macro shots. I listened to my hands and feet and turned back when they started protesting. It was definitely worth the effort.

Bob and I discussed the events of September 11th 2001 this morning. The events are history for him, not memory.
