Barn Wall

What a day. it started off quite well as I started to do some paperwork. Filled in a form for the Fit Meter then phoned Tesco to cancel TC card then the DVLA to cancel his driving licence and finally the passport Office.

Last night we heard a rumble and thought it was thunder but when A went out to the barn the wall which had been bulging collapsed. I phoned Croft16 who said he would come over and look at it. Openreach were at the bottom of the road putting up a new telegraph pole so they had switched the phones off so I couldn't phone the insurance company. After Croft 16 and A had tidied up the stones they moved to do some work on the boat and discovered it was full of water so I phoned Adam to see if he had a bilge pump so he came up to help. The engineer came up to see if the phone was working but it wasn't so the checked the wires on the pole then came back up to test it, meanwhile the council arrived with a skip at the bottom of the driveway to lift two washing machines and four fridge/freezers and as they had blocked the road the telephone men had to wait.
I then tried to find out what to do with Premium Bonds with not much success.
I then washed a few bits of wood that go inside the boat and then helped A to paint part of the bottom. In between all this I managed three washings and hung then out and got them dried.
A dull day in the Highlands!!!
