Not All Skeletons Are Creepy.....

...Like this one, for instance-----this lovely blossom is called a Skeleton Flower-----but only because it has a very bare stem that branches in odd ways---hardly any leaves to speak of.  Some also call it a Purple Dandelion or Flowering Straw, but I think Skeleton Flower sounds more interesting, don't you?
