Path through the garlic

First day of our limited walking workshop (which I had positioned slightly later in the calendar this year to ensure better, warmer weather) and it pi**ed down with rain all day - was cold too!

We started at Rydal church, braved the grounds of Rydal hall for a bit, then moved on to Threlkeld.

The shot here was the wonderful garlic flowers at Rydal hall, which someone had artistically driven something through in a wonderful s-curve as a lead in (wasn't me!)
