Unwrapping more presents....
Dear Diary,
When I taught workshops in contemplative photography I always told participants to think of their images as something they received and not something they took. Each day is a gift and we can chose to unwrap and savor it or ignore it. This morning the light on Rudy's tail was just so lovely and the sunlight glinting off his bowl looked like a tiny Tinkerbell. That's what I always call those sparks of light you see from time to time.
My little creatures are also a gift to me and their antics are a constant joy. Now, the trees are blooming and I am thrilled with their beauty and the bees they draw to them. Winter seems to be a distant memory now.
When we look at each day as a gift then I guess every day is your birthday. Each day we begin again, each day an opportunity to enjoy the gifts Nature gives us. I feel so blessed this morning.
