In The Occupied Territory

Get over it

Last night 26 years of gloom was lifted as Aberdeen won a league game at Ibrox. I am not following the trend by saying that it was that length of time since we beat Rangers, because it isn't. The Rangers have only been in existence for 5 years, and we have only played them once previously in Glasgow.
Now that we have the victory and secured second place in the league for the third year running, we can get over last night and concentrate on the the last to games of the season, both in Glasgow. Firstly at the weekend when we play Patrick Thistle and then a week Saturday when we go to Hampden and take on Celtic in the Scottish Cup final.
The red and white bunting is already going up in the city, courtesy of Aberdeen Inspired, the people behind Nuart and Painted Doors, as the city prepares to "paint the town Red" in the lead in to the aforementioned final.

I will leave you with this, when The Rangers manager, in the tunnel last night after the game, allegedly accused our manager, Derek McInnes, of  "Just being interested in his job."
He replied, " I don't want to step down."
