Buttercup time

What pleasure a four mile walk in early summer can bring.
Simple elements. Blue sky, fluffy white clouds, some phragmites (common reed) for contrast and an intense display of buttercups.

Politics at the moment is fascinating and I enjoy reading about it. But it is ephemeral and the real joy is the footpath a mile from home.
