All Saints, Appleton le Street

I see this Saxon tower whenever I'm passing between Hovingham and Malton in North Yorkshire. I stopped today because of the sunshine and was quite surprised by the meadow of buttercups at the back of the church.
Sometimes you have to get down low to take a photograph. I have recently bought a cushioned mat that enabled me to lie on my stomach to get the shot.
