In the garden

Today has been a beautiful warm and sunny day. The bees were a-buzzing on the cotoneaster and I spotted three butterflies on the Jacob's Ladder.
Meanwhile I have been busy tidying up the borders. How dry is the soil???? I think I should have been watering already.
