Castle Gates House

This morning I went into Shrewsbury to do a bit of shopping. While there I took a photo of Castle Gates House which is at the entrance to the town's castle. Apparently it used to be in Dogpole (another street in the town) but was dismantled and rebuilt in it's present positionin the eighteenth century.

The photo is taken from the front of the library, the statue with his back to us is Darwin who was born in the town. I have already blipped his front view here.
