Probably not as we haven't had a chance to Skype since we returned a month ago.

Caught the back end of a programme called 'A Time to Live' which featured people with terminal illnesses and how they have dealt with their situation and how it has changed their lives. A very moving programme and one that one that has caused me to once again question my own situation, but more worryingly, with just 2 exceptions, these people all had blue eyes! WTF is that all about, or coincidence or has God got it in for us blue eyed beauties?

OK, my eyes are more of a greeny grey but closer to blue than brown.

Another moving documentary that I caught on catch up this evening looked at the motives behind ISIS' violence and whilst it is not forgiveable or excusable, it is clear that they really do believe that they are doing god's work and whilst we may scoff at that our own history is full of similarly misguided acts. Most distressing was their attitude to Yazidis who they would quite happily wipe off the face of the earth with the lack of remorse that a child shows after stamping on a nest of ants, i.e. none!
