Meadow Pipit

Taken on the usual Thursday walk around Fairhaven, Lytham St Anne's.

We saw a couple of beautiful wheatears ( see cropped extra photo) , and I'm sure I would've been able to get much closer to them,  and steadied myself for a much better shot,  if it wasn't for the women with the dog!  :-(
 
If, however,  I had been quicker, I suppose I would have got a shot of a beautiful wheatear in flight!
