Hamilton Harbour
After two ferry rides, spending a small fortune in the craft shops at Dockyards and a light lunch we were scuppered when a serious traffic accident diverted us miles away from where we are staying.
So, along with what seemed like the rest of the population of Bermuda we were forced to take a break at the famous Swizzle Inn. All I will say is that glugging down a Rum Swizzle and then stepping out into the broiling sunshine is a precarious move..
Now I understand why they buy Tee shirts that say
Swizzle Inn Swagger out...
Now.... several hours later having demolished a slab of apple cake, drinking a vat of black coffee and floating about in the pool I am ready for the evening to start
