Milky Way over Edinburgh
Believe it or not, this was from just on the outskirts of Edinburgh tonight, Harlaw Reservoir, not more than 6 miles from the city centre. Pitch black and this was actually visible to the naked eye. The diagonal band is referred to as the Milky Way but it's actually one of the spiral arms of our galaxy and is where the stars are the most dense. A truly magical sight to see, seriously, everybody should see this at least once with their own eyes.
