Outdoor classroom day

Today over 1 million children were taught outside! 160 children at my school spent the whole day outside. We had a carousel of 8 activities throughout the day. Far too many to mention here. Suffice to say, it was a truly special day- the children had a ball. My blip shows some of the art work they created. It is done by placing a leaf under a piece of calico and tapping it with a pebble. All the 'juice' from the leaf is transferred onto the fabric. I was blown away by their work.
