Newcastle Quayside...

In Newcastle for a couple of days so took a quick trip down to the quayside to photograph the bridges etc. but it started to cloud and spit rain as soon as I got my camera out.

This area has definitely been much improved from when I used to visit it in the 80s/90s.

I like the little 'beach huts' in the extras, they are placed with a small sandy beach complete with deckchairs for people to use...
