Ouch!

One wet and soggy and squished glove! We had a right old rainstorm as we left work - made worse by the fact that we'd gambled on the weather and had left our coats in the car at the other side of campus! We were dripping wet by the time we reached the safety of the car!

But what an exciting evening! I let Leo stay up late to watch the second leg of the play offs. By some miracle, Exeter won, 6-5 across the two legs and are off to Wembley for the final :)

It was an incredibly nerve wracking match to watch. Carlisle are definitely a bogey team for Exeter so it was always going to be a hard game. Things were level at 3-3 from the first leg. Exeter went 2-0 up and then Carlisle scored in the 81st and the 90th minute - just when you thought we'd squeezed through. And then in stoppage time Exeter got one more goal just in time - what excitement!
