Early Bird

The morning skies are beautiful just now, but these deep red glows last barely minutes before paling with the imminent sunrise.

But I get to see them through my kitchen door, while I make a morning cuppa.

For the last two nights, my neighbours have been nocturnal. Yelling and laughing through the night, finally giving up as I leave for school.

But last night was peace and quiet once more.

Hooray.
