A Hidden Gem

There are loads of interesting examples of social history everywhere.
This is the entrance to St Simon's Church in Partick, known as the Polish Church beacuse it is where thousands of Poles who came here during the Second World War went to attend Mass.
Even today the Masses are said in Polish - and there is still a sizeable Polish community here.
The church is tucked down a side road, very out of the way like all good hidden gems.
