Expensive Lesson !

Unlocked the front door this morning to receive some Tomato plants from the 'girls' over the road  and left the key in the door ............. so when I went out later I shut the door and locked myself out !!!
Had to get a locksmith who had to drill out the lock and then replace it with a new one .
Don't ask but it cost an arm  and a leg - as they say !
Any way had nice chat to locksmith who told me some of his adventures in Chelsea mending locks for very rich Russians - one offered him a bottle of wine worth a £1OOO.
I didn't bother to suggest a bottle of Sainsbury's finest - he 'd got enough of my cash ;-)
