Swan family on the moat

Proud parents and six cygnets appeared on the moat yesterday - apparently they nest on the nearby river then move to the moat with the babies. Last year the cygnets all 'disappeared' within a few days - but there was a huge pike in there last year - found floating dead during the winter. Let's hope the current pike is not so big and they survive.
Still six today anyway !
