I felt rough again this morning, A migraine had developed at about 2 in the morning, I drank lots of water to try to clear it but needed medicine by 4, so still groggy when I got up. I went to Dad's to do the usual chores, washing, hoovering, making drinks, preparing tea. Then Keith arrived and I got Dad ready to go to visit Mum in the care home. A much kinder visit this time, Mum was in a calm mood and quite cheerful even if she doesn't know her husband. We stayed about an hour until it was her lunchtime, then brought Dad back home in Abdul's wheelchair taxi.
Keith went to get chips for a lunchtime treat, while I tidied up and got Dad changed. Later on I popped to Boot's to print out some photos of our visit for Dad to look at and share with his carers.
When I went back with the photos, Dad seems to have developed a cold, and was a bit hot, with a runny nose etc. Hopefully that won't cause him too much of a problem.
I came away after about half an hour, gosh I am tired.
