Wrightsville Beach

I left the house just after 7am and went to Wrightsville Beach for the morning.

It was the first time in years I've gone to sit on the beach. I took my 70spf sunscreen and had my cooling cloth and sun visor.

I saw sanderlings, seagulls & pelicans.

On the walk back to the car I saw this snake sticking it's head out watching the people walking along the wood path. It's head wasn't out far enough for me to tell if it was just a corn snake or if it was a copperhead. I wasn't going to coax it out to find out!

I have spent my afternoon washing & drying everything I took to the beach. Now we are off to have dinner with Kent's siblings & their spouses in Kinston
