Last day bargains

Today is the last day of the fantastic Christian Aid book sale at St Andrews and St George's church in George Street. The sale runs for a week every year and is the largest in Edinburgh. Books are on sale in the main church, up on the balcony and outside in the area around the church, it's stated by volunteers and is always busy.
They sell antiques and ephemera too, as well as a large number of very good paintings and prints, all donated.
The most expensive I saw this year was a large oil painting by Ann Oram for either two or three thousand pounds my memory is letting me down again. It was a beautiful representation of religious interest, really rich jewel like colours, I can't remember the detail but think it was a church in Italy.
